Jones (Joel) also plays guitar and sings in the band Ghost Towns of the West, but releases solo projects under Jones Korte.
Pinewolf
Pinewolf is a musical conglomerate from four gifted musicians located throught the U.S. (Andy Hurt, Andy Dwyer, Joe Krasean, Ari Bar-Lev). Pinewolf recorded their debut EP under the Chase Bliss Records, but a release date has not been set. From the band:
"Pinewolf was conceived in the autumn, 1774, on the tightly-woven hem of an opium den setting cushion. Months later, being laid on a stump and hatched by the sun, four gentle-men emerged with guitars in hand, ready to rock. The group went to work, tooling strings from catgut and sinew, until Tesla's technological revolution made possible the ear-splitting volume and chords we've come to call rock n' roll. The quartet quickly grew fond of Tesla's pentode-biased vacuum tube element construct, and utilized the new device for heating often drafty rehearsal chambers in the bitter Mid-West winters. Three members went on to classical training at the Minneapolis Conservatory, (gold medal class of '06), while the fourth was tempered by war. Pinewolf hosts dens in the ancient cities Minneapolis, Milwaukee, Chicago and Nashville. The communal mind of Pinewolf exercises four professional disciplines: Law, Education, Fine Art, and Counter-Insurgence. Like the namesake mythical creature, Pinewolf is seldom seen by the civilized eye. A chance sighting promises the witness good providence and virtue by the grace of her Creator."
